DissKO

Rap Battle Online With Friends, No Mic Required

Start a rap battle online with a friend using a link or room code. DissKO turns each take into a sung, lip-synced verse, and the judge and crowd pick a winner.

A rap battle online usually means one of two things: record yourself and hope someone answers, or type bars into a chat and imagine the beat. DissKO is an online rap battle game that skips both. You and a friend each pick a side of a topic, type one opinion per turn, and the AI turns each opinion into an 8-bar verse, sung over a beat and performed by a lip-synced cartoon MC.

No microphone, no recording setup, no freestyle skills required. You bring the argument. The AI brings the bars.

How to start a rap battle online

Setting up a match takes about as long as sending a text.

  1. Go to play and sign in with Google.
  2. Pick a topic, like PC vs Console or Remote Work vs Office.
  3. Pick your side.
  4. Send your friend the invite link, or read them the 6-character room code.
  5. Your friend joins and takes the other side.

Then the battle starts. You type an opinion, the AI generates your verse, and your friend sees it play before writing their response.

How the online rap battle game plays

Each battle is three rounds with alternating turns, so each player drops three verses. Every verse is about 15 seconds long, which keeps rounds tight and keeps the other player engaged.

A turn, step by step

  • You type a single opinion that supports your side or answers your opponent.
  • The AI writes it as an 8-bar verse.
  • A music model sings it over a beat.
  • A lip-sync model animates an original cartoon MC to perform it.
  • The finished video plays for both players and anyone watching.

Why short verses work online

Fifteen seconds is long enough for a setup and a punchline, and short enough that nobody waits around. It also keeps the whole battle under a couple of minutes of video, which is easy to watch, replay, and share.

Watching a rap battle online: votes and the AI judge

Live rooms are visible in the public arena, so people can drop in and watch a rap battle online as it happens. Spectators can vote for a winner after signing in with Google, one vote per account.

Separately, an AI judge scores every verse from 1 to 10 on four categories:

  • Rhyme
  • Flow
  • Relevance, meaning how well the verse answers the opponent
  • Punchline

The judge also writes a two-sentence verdict. The AI score and the audience vote appear side by side and are never merged. You see what the judge thought and what the crowd thought, and you can argue about the difference.

No friend online? Battle the AI

If nobody's around, you can battle the AI instead. It takes the opposite side and writes its own opinions each round. New users get 1 free credit on Google sign-in, and it can be used in a vs-AI battle, so you can try a full verse without paying.

Topics that work well for online battles

The best topics are ones everyone has an opinion on and nobody can settle. A few presets:

After the battle: replays and sharing

Every battle gets a replay page at /battle/ plus a short slug. It shows all verses, the lyrics as text, scores, the judge's verdict, and the vote count. You can share the link, embed the battle, or download a 9:16 vertical video with a dissko.fun watermark. Watching, voting, replays, and downloads cost nothing.

What it costs

Verses use credits. One credit covers a 480p verse, and a 768p verse costs 2. Packs: Starter $4.99 for 5 credits, Crew $19.99 for 25, Studio $49.99 for 75. If generation fails, the credit comes back automatically. See pricing.

Keeping it fair and fun

The MCs are original fictional characters. There's no selfie upload, no voice cloning, and no imitation of real rappers. Every video carries an "AI generated" badge, and battles stay PG-13. You're roasting the other side's opinion, not the other person.

For a closer look at the generator itself, see the AI rap battle generator page.

  1. 1

    Pick a side

Choose a topic — Cats vs Dogs, Pineapple on Pizza, or your own — and take a corner. Your friend gets the other one.

  2. 2

    Say your take

Type one sentence (or say it). The AI writes it into 8 bars that answer whatever your opponent just said.

  3. 3

    Watch your MC spit it

In about half a minute your MC raps it over a beat in a lip-synced 15-second video. Three rounds, then the verdict.
