AI rap lip sync is the part of DissKO people notice first. You type one opinion, the AI turns it into an 8-bar rap verse sung over a beat, and an original cartoon MC performs it on screen with mouth movements that follow the vocals. The result is a 15-second lip sync rap video AI made from a single sentence.
You don't record your voice or upload a photo. The words come from you, the performance comes from the model.
What AI rap lip sync means here
Lip sync, in this context, means animating a character's mouth and face so it looks like they're actually saying the words in an audio track. For rap, that's a harder job than for speech. Syllables come fast, words get stretched across beats, and the delivery has rhythm that the face needs to follow.
On DissKO, every verse goes through three steps:
- Lyrics. A language model turns your opinion into an 8-bar verse.
- Audio. A music model generates the vocals and the beat together.
- Video. A lip-sync model takes a reference image of the MC and animates it from the audio.
The output is a short video where the MC's mouth, head, and expression move with the verse. For a deeper look at the pipeline, read how AI lip sync makes a cartoon MC rap your words.
Lip sync rap video AI, built for battles
Most lip sync rap video AI tools are built for one clip at a time. DissKO uses lip sync as part of a battle. Two players each pick a side of a debate, like Coffee vs Tea or Cats vs Dogs, and take turns for three rounds. Each turn produces a new lip-synced verse that answers the last one.
That changes what the video is for. It isn't a standalone clip. It's one move in a back-and-forth that ends with a score and a winner.
Why 15 seconds
Each verse runs about 15 seconds. That's long enough for eight bars and a punchline, and short enough that your opponent isn't waiting long for their turn. It also keeps the generated video short, which is where lip-sync quality is easiest to keep consistent.
Resolution options
- 480p costs 1 credit per verse.
- 768p costs 2 credits per verse.
Both come out with the same lyrics and audio. Higher resolution just gives you a sharper MC.
Original characters, no selfies, no voice cloning
DissKO's MCs are original fictional cartoon characters. You can't upload a selfie, you can't clone a voice, and nothing on the site imitates a real rapper's look or sound. Every video carries an "AI generated" badge.
This is a deliberate choice. Animating a real person's face saying words they never said creates obvious problems. Cartoon MCs avoid that while still giving each verse a performer with personality. The tone across the site stays PG-13.
Scoring the performance
Each verse is scored by an AI judge on rhyme, flow, relevance (how well it answers the opponent), and punchline, 1 to 10 each, plus a two-sentence verdict. Spectators can vote too, after signing in with Google, one vote per account. The AI score and the audience vote are shown side by side, never merged.
Flow is where the audio and the lip sync meet. A verse that rides the beat cleanly usually looks better on screen too.
