Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DissKO website at dissko.fun and any related services (together, "DissKO" or the "Service"). DissKO is a brand operated by DissKO Team ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use DissKO.

What DissKO is

DissKO is a web game. Two players each pick a side of a debate topic and take turns typing one opinion per turn. Our AI systems turn each opinion into an 8-bar rap verse performed by an original cartoon MC in a short lip-synced video. A battle runs for 3 rounds, alternating between players. Spectators vote, an AI judge scores rhyme, flow, relevance, and punchline, and you can also battle an AI opponent.

Eligibility: 18 or older

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use DissKO. When you sign up, you confirm "I am 18 or older." If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and remove its content.

Accounts

You sign in to DissKO with your Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. One person may not operate multiple accounts to manipulate votes, rankings, signup bonuses, or other features. Spectator voting requires a signed-in account, allows one vote per account per battle, and is open for 24 hours after a battle ends.

Credits

Generating verses uses credits. You can get credits through a signup bonus, promotions, or by buying credit packs.

• Cost per verse: 1 credit generates one verse at 480p. A verse at 768p costs 2 credits.
• Signup bonus: the free credit given at signup can only be used in battles against the AI opponent.
• No cash value: credits are not money. They cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for cash, or redeemed outside DissKO.
• Non-transferable: credits cannot be sold, gifted, or moved to another account.
• Expiry: credits expire if your account goes 12 months without using any credits.
• Refunds: refunds of credits and purchases are covered by our Refund Policy.

Prices are shown at checkout, and payments are handled by our payment processor. We may change prices or credit costs for future purchases.

Acceptable use

DissKO is about trash-talking opinions, not people. When you use the Service, you agree to the following:

• Attack the opinion, not the person. Roasting your opponent's side of the debate is the game; targeting their identity is not.
• Do not include names, emails, phone numbers, social media handles, or other identifying details of real private individuals.
• No hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.
• No harassment, bullying, threats, or encouragement of violence or self-harm.
• No sexual content, and nothing involving minors in any sexual or harmful context.
• No content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Do not try to bypass moderation, manipulate votes, automate accounts, scrape the Service, or interfere with its operation.

Content moderation

User inputs and generated content are checked by automated moderation, and some content may be reviewed by people. We may block an input, decline to generate a verse, hide or remove a battle, limit features, or suspend or ban an account when we believe content or behavior breaks these Terms or creates risk for others. We are not obligated to monitor everything on the Service, and we may act without notice.

Reports

Anyone can report a battle. When a battle receives 3 reports, it is hidden automatically while we review it. After review we may restore it, keep it hidden, remove it, or take action on the accounts involved. Please report in good faith; abusing the report system is itself a violation of these Terms.

AI-generated content

All verses, vocals, and videos on DissKO are generated by AI. All MCs are fictional cartoon characters and do not depict real people. Videos carry an "AI generated" badge. DissKO does not offer selfie uploads, face swapping, or voice cloning, and you may not use the Service to imitate a real person. AI output can be inaccurate, odd, or not what you expected; your typed opinion is the input, but we do not guarantee the exact lyrics, voice, or visuals that result.

Ownership and licenses

Your inputs. You keep whatever rights you have in the opinions you type. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, reproduce, adapt, and display your inputs to operate, moderate, promote, and improve DissKO.

Generated output. As between you and us, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to download, share, and post the replays and videos of battles you took part in, for personal and non-commercial purposes, as long as you keep the "AI generated" badge and do not present the content as depicting a real person. The MC characters, visual style, music, and DissKO brand remain ours.

Our use. You grant us a license to host, display, distribute, and promote battles, including in the arena, replays, social media, and marketing.

Public battles

Battles marked public appear in the arena and can be watched, voted on, and shared by others. Their replays stay available after the battle ends unless they are hidden, removed, or deleted.

Disclaimers

DissKO is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations. AI judge scores and spectator votes are for entertainment only.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DissKO Team and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of DissKO. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Termination

You can stop using DissKO and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@dissko.fun. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. If your account is terminated for a violation, unused credits are forfeited. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as licenses granted to us, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "updated" date above, and for significant changes we will give notice on the site or by email. Continuing to use DissKO after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
